M. David Dennis, M.D.

Dr. Dennis completed his undergraduate work at the University of Texas at Austin. Upon graduation, he entered Baylor College of Medicine where he earned the degree of Doctor of Medicine in 1975. After serving his internship and Orthopaedic Residency at Baylor, Dr. Dennis did a Fellowship in Low Back Pain at Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas. While in Fellowship training at Texas Tech, he organized and directed the Low Back Pain Clinic. He completed a Leon Wiltse, M.D. Fellowship at the University of California, Long Beach, where he was a consultant to the Low Back Pain Clinic.
Dr. Dennis received his Board Certification from The American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons in September of 1981. He is a fellow of The American Back Society, and is a member of several professional organizations. Dr. Dennis is an Assistant Clinic Professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio and has served as Chief and Vice Chief of Orthopaedics at the Methodist Hospital San Antonio, Texas.
