Annette Gantz is terrific.
As I tell everyone I speak to about my long-established relationship with the practice (dating back to 1982, when it was Alamo Bone & Joint and Dr. Dennis was my surgeon), you can teach skills in medical school, but you cannot teach genuine compassion and bedside care. All the doctors I have had here (Dennis, Gurwitz, Hirsch, Vizurraga, and especially Joshi) and their staff have always shown me and my husband the utmost respect. They genuinely listen to our concerns and thoroughly explain treatment options. The staff at South Texas Spinal Physical Therapy is also fabulous. I cannot say enough about the special place in my heart that Dr. Joshi, Deanna, and my past doctors hold.
Dr. David Roberts performed a successful back surgery on my L2. I will go back and have him do my L4 with no hesitation. He is the best there is when it comes to spinal surgeries.
Dr. Roberts was professional, answered all my questions, and was personable.

Dr. Maged Mina is a kind and caring physician who is always in a good mood. He knows his patients, and he even knows the family member who comes along to drive me home after my procedure. Every person who works at South Texas Surgical Spine Center is kind and friendly. In the past three years, I have never encountered anyone with an even slightly grumpy attitude. Everyone is upbeat and happy.
One of the best medical experiences that I have ever had. Dr. Edionwe and the staff are caring and knowledgeable. They took the fear out of the experience and ended with great results. I highly recommend this practice to my family and friends.

Dr. Edionwe and his team are courteous and professional. They respond and handle any requests that I have, even if they pertain to another provider in their system.

Dr Jenné explained what was going on with my MRI. We discussed options and solutions. He showed me great care and concern, and we appreciate him, the staff, and the center. It is essential to me to have care here. I travel from Corpus Christi to do this, and that does ‘say something’ because I dislike the trip.
Dr. Edionwe answered all my questions thoroughly and is an all-around amazing surgeon. I'm so grateful to God that He led me to the right choice in selecting South Texas Spinal Clinic, and specifically Dr. Edionwe. I was in great hands for my discectomy and laminectomy. His team is fantastic too; Leti is a Godsend, and we love Sabrina, the surgical coordinator, as well. Highly recommend.
