My Comeback Story: Marc G.
My retirement was saved by Dr. Webb
I retired from police work in 2015 because of an off-duty back injury. I took it easy for several years, and in 2024, my back was out completely. I could not stand for more than 2 minutes. I couldn't walk, I couldn't wash my face or brush my teeth without holding or leaning on the counter. Several times, I was in a wheelchair so I could go shopping. I took up amateur wildlife photography when I retired in 2015, and now I couldn't even stand or squat to take photographs. I visited with Dr. Webb, and he thoroughly explained my problem and the process I would go through. I elected to have A.L.I.F. surgery in October of 2024, and I am so thankful for Dr. Webb. Now in 2026, I am back out in the woods taking pictures, and I can take walks downtown for street photography. The South Texas Spinal Clinic and Dr. Webb saved my retirement, and I am now able to move around without a cane or wheelchair.
