My Comeback Story: Yvette S.

I was suffering nonstop pain; my lumbar spine was pressing on my nerves. I could hardly do anything, and the doctors in my country had me heavily medicated, which was useless. My youngest son lives in San Antonio, and he suggested that I check the South Texas Spinal Clinic. After having seen several doctors in El Salvador and Florida, we finally met Dr. Joshi. After our first visit with him, we knew he was a God-sent! After deciding on my treatment, explaining thoroughly how to prepare for the surgeries, listening to and following his instructions, the day came. At the end of March 2024, Dr. Joshi and his team did two back-to-back surgeries. Both were successful, and the recovery road started right at the hospital. First, getting up and walking with a walker, then some at-home therapy, and finally physical therapy with South Texas Spinal Clinic-trained professionals. I cannot be thankful enough to Dr. Joshi, and everyone who worked with me to bring recovery into my life. Less than 6 months later, I was pain-free, walking, doing Yoga, and going on vacation with my son (which included scuba diving). I am so grateful and so blessed for having Dr. Joshi as my neurosurgeon, my doctor, and my friend. Thank you, Dr. Joshi, from the bottom of our hearts!
